Sterile Technician / Dental Assistant – Join Our Fun & Fast-Paced Pediatric Dental Team! Responsibilities: • Clean, sterilize, and disinfect dental instruments and equipment following OSHA, CDC, and clinic protocols. • Prepare and maintain sterilization logs to ensure proper documentation and compliance with infection control standards. • Set up and restock operatories with sterile instruments, trays, and supplies for dental procedures. • Inspect instruments for damage or wear and report any concerns to the clinical team. • Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment according to manufacturer and safety guidelines. • Maintain a clean and organized sterilization area , ensuring all surfaces are disinfected and supplies are properly stored. • Monitor inventory levels of sterile supplies and communicate needs for reordering or restocking. • Follow all safety protocols to protect patients and staff from cross-contamination or infection. • Assist clinical staff as needed with chairside setup, breakdown, and cleaning between patients. • Support compliance efforts related to OSHA, HIPAA, and internal infection control policies. Qualifications: • Experience working with children. • Currently enrolled in dental assisting school or have experience working as an unlicensed assistant. • Computer Skills. • Superb communication skills. Compensation: $21 - $25 hourly
