Delivery Associate

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver packages safely and efficiently to customers' homes, apartments, and businesses using a provided company vehicle.
• Interact positively and professionally with customers to provide a great delivery experience.
• Follow a planned delivery route, ensuring timely delivery of all packages.
• Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, handle packages carefully, and use handheld technology to manage deliveries.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and driving regulations, including wearing seat belts and obeying traffic laws.
• Handle unexpected issues that may arise during delivery, such as incorrect addresses or package damages, and escalate as needed.
• Work effectively as part of a team, supporting other associates as necessary and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to the management team.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Capable of lifting and carrying packages up to 50 lbs, and comfortable walking and climbing stairs.
• Proficient in using handheld technology and GPS devices.
• Strong verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a customer service role.
• Familiarity with the local area and traffic patterns.

Pay: $22.25 - $30.00 per hour

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift

Work days:

• Every weekend
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
