Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk . The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in company databases and computer systems. This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong typing skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter data into databases, spreadsheets, or other digital formats.
Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check output.
Update and maintain information on company systems and in paper files as needed.
Verify the accuracy of data before entering it.
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
Retrieve data from databases or electronic files as requested.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
Assist with generating reports and performing routine data audits.
Comply with data integrity and security policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and data entry software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
