We are currently seeking a dynamic, creative, and highly motivated Copywriter with a strong background in manufacturing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling content that aligns with our brand voice and marketing strategy. This position requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality copy for a variety of channels, including social media, website, email campaigns, product descriptions, and print materials.
Responsibilities:
1. Create engaging and persuasive copy that communicates our product values to our target audience.
2. Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to produce high-quality content across multiple platforms.
3. Develop and maintain a clear and consistent brand voice.
4. Conduct thorough research to understand our products, industry trends, and competitors.
5. Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice for various mediums (such as ads, blog posts, newsletters).
6. Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts.
7. Collaborate with designers, PR, and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages).
8. Edit and proofread copy as needed.
9. Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach.
10. Source images and other content.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
2. 2+ years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience as a copywriter or related role within the retail sector.
4. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
5. Experience with social media platforms and understanding of social media strategies.
6. Ability to create compelling images that align with content and resonate with our target audience.
7. Strong knowledge of digital content writing and magazine editing.
8. Exceptional creativity and innovation.
9. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
10. An understanding of SEO and industry trends.
11. Proficiency in relevant software programs.
