Job Description

We are looking for a CDL Class B Driver to work with one of our clients in Sterling, VA. Our client is a trusted provider of waste and recycling services. 

​​​​​​​Job Responsibilities:  

• Safety Operate and drive Calss B Dump/Trash Tuck and vacuum/compactor dumpsters as assigned. 
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post trip inspections, identify and report mechanical issues promptly
• Load and service dumpsters at commercial, industrial and residentials sites; operate hydraulic controls to empty containers into the truck's hopper and compact material as applicable. 
• Ensure proper securing of loads and adherence to weight limits; use appropriate containment for liquids or hazardous material per policy.
• Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and company safety policies. 
• Maintain accurate service logs, route sheets, and customer documentations; utilize handheld devices / PDA for routing, scanning, and proof of service. 
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers, address inquirers and report issues to dispatch. 
• Operate in various weather conditions while maintaining safety and efficiency. 
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance (checking fluid levels, tire conditions, lights) and report or schedule repairs as needed. 
• Clean and sanitize cab and work area as required and maintain a neat, safe work environment.
