We're a small independently-owned brewery located in San Diego, California. We're proud of our beer and even more proud of the community it has built.
Societe was founded in 2012 on the idea that beer is the worlds greatest social uniter. This mindset inspired our name and it keeps us focused on every ounce we brew. We see our brewery as a vehicle for bringing people together from all walks of life. Beer by beer, were working hard to build our community, starting with our rally cry BEER FOLK UNITE! We are looking for a hardworking, team oriented brewer to join our team! There is structured opportunity for advancement within the brewing team, as well as opportunities for further brewing related education.
Summary
The Brewer I position is responsible for cellar duties and coordinating with the brewhouse throughout the day. Duties include:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:A high school diploma , and more than a year of experience in the industry with a related degree in brewing science preferred
NECESSARY LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:.) A degree in brewing, or related science, other certifications issued via organizations such as IBD, and Siebel are a plus
CHARACTER AND REFERENCES:You must be able to work well with others, and be respectful of your fellow employees at all times.Three past work experience references are required.
