Bookkeeper – Prestigious CPA Firm (Melville, NY)

Join our prestigious and rapidly expanding CPA firm in Melville, serving a sophisticated client base including hedge funds, international family offices, architectural firms, and real estate. We provide family office planning and accounting for multiple members of the Forbes 400 — no local “mom and pop” operations.

This is a unique opportunity to work on high-end clients in a professional, pleasant environment without travel.

Responsibilities

• Correspond with clientele on a professional level
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
• Complete timely bank and payroll reconciliations
• Handle payroll processing and recording
• Process Accounts Payable
• Manage requests promptly and efficiently

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Familiarity with Bill.com is a plus
• Friendly, positive attitude with superior communication skills
• Professionalism, accuracy, and discretion in handling sensitive financial information
• Experience at a CPA firm is a plus
