JCO is currently on the lookout for an experienced BIM Manager for one of our top clients! This dynamic company is one of the top construction companies in the electrical industry, and they are looking for hardworking individuals to join their team.

The Duties will include:

• Direct the virtual construction workflow and oversee preparation of design documentation.
• Lead and support a team of drafters and coordinators through mentorship, coaching, and daily supervision.
• Maintain adherence to company BIM standards, policies, and procedures.
• Partner with engineers and design staff to review models and incorporate feedback.
• Adapt incoming design files for project use, including cleanup, auditing, referencing, and troubleshooting.
• Deliver coordination drawings and electrical shop drawings directly from 3D models.
• Participate in multi-trade coordination meetings to ensure alignment with other MEP teams.
• Responsibilities described represent the overall scope of the role; additional duties may be assigned depending on business needs.
  

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 5 years’ total experience with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards
• Experience Leading and Managing teams
• Degree in Computerized Drafting field preferred but not required.
