Job Brief:

Barista responsibilities include educating guests on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items, as well as crafting amazing beverage experiences. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and have knowledge of how brewing equipment operates.

Responsibilities:

o Greet customers as they approach the coffee bar
o Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients
o Take orders while paying attention to details
o Prepare beverages following recipes
o Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins
o Receive and process payments
o Keep the bar area clean
o Stocking of dry goods and prepared foods
o Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
o Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items

Requirements:

o Previous experience as a Barista
o Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
o Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
o Excellent communication skills
