Job Description

Full-Time Customer Service Representative

On-The-Job Training

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using in-depth knowledge of company products and services as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department and other departments at Byerly Aviation. This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners and fax machine.

The Front Desk is open days a week from 5:00am - 9:00pm. Must be Flexible to this schedule; open to 1st or 2nd Shifts

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide concierge service for customers and provide additional information and services as required
  • Deal with and help resolve any customer complaints
  • Provide information about products and services
  • Take customer orders, calculate charges, and process billing or payments
  • Review or make changes to customer accounts
  • Record details of customer contacts and actions taken
  • Refer customers to supervisors

1st Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm

2nd Shift: 12:30pm - 9:00pm

Pay Range: Min. Wage - $17.00 per hour DOE

Qualifications for Customer Service Representative

  • Airport operations or customer service experience strongly desired
  • Show professionalism in all matters
  • Work with patience and courtesy in customer relations
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Think quickly and logically to ensure expedient response to customer inquiries
  • Work with Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Abide by the company anti-drug and anti-alcohol program
  • Able to pass airport security background check
  • Be at least 16 years of age

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
