We are looking for a detail-oriented AML Compliance Analyst to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards by analyzing compliance alerts and conducting thorough investigations. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong analytical skills and a passion for maintaining the integrity of financial systems.

Responsibilities:
• Review and interpret risk guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Conduct quality checks on cleared compliance alerts to determine whether proper actions were taken.
• Collect and document relevant data, including investigations, suspicious activity reports, currency transaction reports, and Know Your Customer (KYC) information.
• Perform deep-dive research and analysis of large datasets to identify potential risks or irregularities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and thorough documentation of account and transaction details.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of compliance processes and recommend improvements as needed.
• Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements and apply them to ongoing investigations.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries for management and regulatory review.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all compliance activities.• Proven experience in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) compliance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of policies, procedures, and regulations relevant to financial compliance.
• Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to process large volumes of data.
• Familiarity with Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs).
• Knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) standards and practices.
• High attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and present findings.
• Ability to adapt to regulatory changes and apply them to compliance processes.
