Our client in South Windsor, CT, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated  Entry-Level Accountant to join their growing team. This position is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are looking to build a solid foundation in accounting and finance.

As an Entry-Level Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the accounting department with tasks such as account reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting. This is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and reconciling financial statements and reports.
• Perform general ledger maintenance and journal entries.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensure all accounting records and documents are accurate and comply with company policies.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Help with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
• Perform data entry and maintain organized financial records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of accounting.
• Prior internship or work experience in accounting/finance is a plus but not required.
