Accounts Receivable Manager

Location: High Point, NC (Corporate Office)

Work Type: On-site | Full-time | Salaried

Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 annually

Role Overview

The Accounts Receivable Manager oversees all aspects of receivables for multiple business units, ensuring timely collections, accurate reporting, and compliance with company standards. This role manages a small team of AR Specialists and partners cross-functionally to maintain strong financial controls and efficient cash flow processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of AR Specialists across all AR functions.
• Oversee billing, collections, dispute resolution, and customer account reconciliation.
• Monitor aging reports and ensure timely payments and follow-up on outstanding invoices.
• Implement and maintain SOPs for AR processes and reporting standards.
• Prepare month-end, quarterly, and annual AR reports for management review.
• Support internal and external audits as required.
• Partner with operations and project teams to align on billing accuracy and client communications.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance AR efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounts receivable experience; at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Industry experience in construction or manufacturing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• ERP experience required; COINS experience highly preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
