Job Title: Senior Finance and Accounting Manager – Lead and Innovate in Healthcare Finance

Overview:

Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for the healthcare industry? We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Senior Finance and Accounting Manager to join our team. In this role, you will take the lead in driving the financial integrity of our organization, ensuring that our accounting processes are accurate, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices. Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to provide exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Financial Close Process: Oversee the preparation and execution of the monthly financial accounting close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Collaborate with the financial planning and analysis team on corporate budgeting, capital budgeting, and other analytical projects. You will also develop, maintain, and distribute store metrics and KPI reporting to drive business insights.
  • Audit & Troubleshoot: Proactively audit and troubleshoot accounting issues as they arise, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Reconciliation & Cash Management: Lead the reconciliation process for bank/cash accounts, balance sheet accounts, and inventory. Monitor cash accounts, plan for future cash flows, and provide senior leadership with insightful analyses on cash management.
  • Comprehensive Financial Oversight: Manage and oversee all accounting and finance functions, including Revenue Recognition, Inventory Management & Control, Payroll, and Accounts Payable/Receivable.
  • Year-End Audit Leadership: Take charge of the year-end financial audit, working closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth and successful process.
  • Process Improvement: Ensure that internal controls and processes align with best practices. Regularly review and enhance these processes, researching and implementing new technologies that can streamline and improve our financial operations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 6 direct reports, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required; a CPA or MBA is highly preferred.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 years of professional accounting experience, with a strong background in the healthcare industry.
  • ERP Expertise: Extensive experience working with back-office ERP systems is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills are a must, along with strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and the rest of the MS Office Suite.
  • Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing clear and actionable financial insights.
