Job Summary: The Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving the operational success of the company. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations, including project management, resource allocation, scheduling, and team performance. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with experience in the plumbing or home services industry who can ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable operations while maintaining high standards of customer service and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership:
   • Lead and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, dispatching, and completion of plumbing jobs.
   • Collaborate with field supervisors, technicians, and administrative staff to ensure seamless coordination across departments.
   • Develop, implement, and refine operational processes and systems to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability.
2. Team Management and Development:
   • Recruit, train, and mentor staff, including field technicians, office personnel, and project managers.
   • Establish clear performance metrics and goals, and provide regular coaching and feedback to drive team productivity and morale.
   • Foster a positive, results-oriented culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3. Project Management:
   • Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring that jobs are completed on time, within scope, and at the highest standards of quality.
   • Monitor progress and troubleshoot any issues that arise during projects, providing timely solutions to meet customer expectations.
   • Collaborate with customers, vendors, and partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
4. Customer Service and Satisfaction:
   • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service from initial contact through project completion.
   • Handle escalated customer issues and complaints with professionalism and a focus on resolution.
   • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
5. Financial and Resource Management:
   • Manage budgets, track costs, and ensure that projects are financially viable.
   • Maximize resource utilization, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and profitability.
   • Work closely with the finance department to monitor cash flow, approve purchases, and analyze operational expenses.
6. Compliance and Safety:
   • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
   • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures across all job sites.
   • Regularly review operational risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
7. Strategic Planning and Growth:
   • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals for growth and expansion.
   • Identify opportunities for new services, markets, and process improvements that drive business success.
   • Report to senior management on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
