Part-Time Nanny/Babysitter

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Job Overview: 

About the Family: We are a busy family looking for a reliable and energetic nanny/babysitter to help care for our two children, aged 4 and 7 years old
This position is ideal for a college or graduate student, or someone with morning commitments, looking for consistent part-time work in the afternoons. A background in sports, dance or an active lifestyle is a plus, as it aligns with the children’s energy levels and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grocery Shopping: Handle weekly grocery shopping for the household.
• Meal Prep: Assist with meal preparation for the children.
• Household Tidying: Help with general tidying of the children’s rooms and assist with their laundry.
• Transportation: Pick up the children from school and take them to and from their afternoon activities.
• Evening Routine: Assist with dinner preparation, supervise bath time, and occasionally help put the children to bed if the parent is out for a weeknight dinner or traveling (infrequent but possible).

Ideal Candidate:

• Reliable and Organized: Your schedule should be stable and predictable to ensure consistency in the children’s routine.
• Experienced with Children: Prior experience working with children, especially in the 4-7 age range, is highly preferred.
• Flexible: While the schedule is consistent, occasional flexibility is appreciated, especially for staying late if needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree
• Valid driver’s license 
• Valid Work Authorization in the US
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
