Company is actively growing Opportunity to growth and assistant in the growth of the company About Our Client A privately held commercial real estate investment and development firm located in Houston, Texas, with a focus on multi-family properties. Job Description EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES Significant/majority of time to be spent on equity fundraising. Develop and implement capital-raising strategies to secure funding for real estate acquisitions, developments, and operations. Identify and cultivate relationships with potential investors, including institutional investors, private equity firms, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals. Prepare and present investment proposals, financial models, and marketing materials to potential investors. Negotiate and structure debt and equity financing agreements, including term sheets, loan agreements, and partnership agreements. Manage relationships with lenders, equity partners, and financial institutions to ensure favorable terms and conditions. Conduct detailed financial analyses, including cash flow projections, return on investment (ROI) calculations, and sensitivity analyses. Prepare regular reports on capital raising activities, financial performance, and market trends for senior management and stakeholders. Work closely with the CIO and executive team to develop long-term financial strategies and capital plans. Assess market conditions and trends to identify new opportunities for financing and investment. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. The Successful Applicant REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in real estate finance, capital markets, investment banking, or a related field. Proven track record of successfully raising capital and structuring complex financing deals. Strong network of contacts within the real estate investment and financial communities. Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills. Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities. In-depth knowledge of real estate markets, financing structures, and investment strategies. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Requires 50% travel to different markets. Ability to develop and implement long-term financial strategies. Strong understanding of financial statements, market analysis, and investment principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and stakeholders. Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement effective action plans. What's on Offer The base range for this role is $300,000- $400,000 with a bonus component.
