Job Description
The Jr. Business Development Analyst will work closely with his/her colleagues in the Business Development Department (BD) and across the firm's other operational departments to support the implementation of proactive business and client development initiatives and deliver high-quality analysis to key stakeholders. The position requires intellectual curiosity; the ability to think critically and strategically about a range of topics and issues; and exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities: - Assist in establishing, updating and monitoring news alerts on various clients and prospects through available firm resources
- Assist in the collection of competitive data, market and company research and industry trends
- Assist with the collection and analysis of internal and external data used to identify potential business opportunities
- Identify, analyze and synthesize, information from various sources in a clear, concise manner
- Work with the firm's Business Intelligence Department to coordinate in-depth research on a range of companies, industries and trends on behalf of BD and the firm's attorneys
- Support the maintenance of various new and existing prospecting trackers and tools
- Develop strong familiarity with internal proprietary CRM, matter and other internal systems to compliment external research
- Collaborate with members of BD to obtain an understanding of the firm's practice areas, strategic priorities, matters, competitors and other factors that could influence the direction of research efforts
- Obtain high degree of understanding of select practices, clients and prospects in order to be able to proactively identify and advance actionable information to BD colleagues and attorneys
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills: - Bachelor's degree, and up to one to two years' experience in a competitive intelligence/junior analyst or business development role a plus

This is a
hybrid role which requires in-office attendance in accordance with the schedule set forth by the department. A hybrid schedule is an essential function of this role.
Salary: - $65,000. Paul, Weiss offers competitive compensation and benefits packages. The firm considers a number of factors when determining compensation, including, but not limited to, education, years of experience, levels of experience, competency levels and other relevant skills and qualifications.
- Overtime work is often required, including nights and weekends.
