A large and local distribution company is looking for an Equipment and Service Mechanic to work Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

Diagnose and service customer equipment
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, diagnose problems, and make necessary repairs
Prepare and stage rental orders to go out for delivery or customer pick up
Ensure all rental equipment is in good, clean, usable condition before it goes out to the customer
Inspect rental equipment for damage when it comes back from a customer and report any damage to Service Manager
Demonstrate proper equipment use for customer
Deliver and demonstrate equipment to customer on the job site
Assist in the setup of equipment on the job site and in general warehouse operations as needed

Job Qualifications:

Must have 3 years Mechanical and electrical knowledge
The ability to maneuver tow behind trailers and equipment and to operate a forklift is referred
Must have in-depth knowledge on the proper use and operation of all equipment offered
Must be customer service oriented with the ability to respond well to customer and company needs
Training on operating system for reserving equipment, ordering parts, and logging maintenance hours will be provided
Must have a high level of expertise, accuracy, and work well under pressure
The ability to work with senior technicians on higher level repairs and diagnostics is available
Manufacturer training courses is available where you will travel to equipment manufactures sites for training
Must have a clean driving record with a valid driver's license
