Bank Teller: Rock Falls, IL

Our customer in Rock Falls, Illinois is a small financial institution. Their goal is to create a friendly, courteous and professional atmosphere while meeting their client’s needs. They are seeking an organized, motivated individual to join their team.

Responsibilities of the Bank Teller:

• Assisting customers with processing transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, or payments, resolving complaints or account discrepancies, and answering questions.
• Informing customers about bank products and services.
• Tracking, recording, reporting, and storing information related to transactions, bank supplies, and customers, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
• Maintaining and balancing cash drawers and reconciling discrepancies.
• Packaging cash and rolling coins to be stored in drawers or the bank vault.
• Perform a wide variety of complex clerical duties with attention to detail.
• Use your mathematical knowledge to complete a variety of tasks.
• Greet customers and answer their questions.
• Enter data into computer.
• Take phone calls and respond to customers' inquiries.
• Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate person.
• Follow regulations, procedures, and policies, in order to ensure that transactions are completed smoothly.
• Help customers complete transactions using an ATM, phone, or online.

Bank Teller Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months experience in customer service role.
• Banking experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be able to maintain a professional appearance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay for Bank Teller: Starting at $14-$16/hour.

Schedule: Monday – Friday from 7am – 5pm & Saturday from 7am - 12pm
