Albright College is seeking applications for Admission Counselor. This full-time position, reporting to the Director of Admission is responsible for a full range of recruitment/travel territory management activities in support of the Admission office. The focus of this position is the recruitment, engagement, nurturing, and development of prospective students.
Admission responsibilities include student recruitment, counseling, interviewing and group presentations for undergraduate students; recruitment travel outreach, applicant engagement and cultivation, and application read; and a number of specialty project-oriented tasks assigned by the Director of Admission that could include: project management, technology and social media skills; content writing; and, relational building with on-campus and off-campus groups.

Essential Job Functions: - Counsel prospective students and families throughout the admission stages of prospect to matriculation including contact at high schools, college fairs, interviews and on-campus programs.
- Utilize the mediums of text, email, phone calls, in-person counseling sessions, and virtual meetings to build relationships and manage student population.
- Assume responsibility for recruitment and outreach in a designated territory establishing and maximizing relationships with school counseling staff and knowledge of regions school systems.
- Maintain flow of quality prospective students analyzing trends in enrollment and marketing activities.
- Review and read applications making admission and scholarship decisions and recommendations.
- Manage the Tuition Exchange employee benefit program with guidance from Human Resources.
- Oversee content calendar of the Admission Social Media accounts
- Represent the Admission office in both on and off campus meetings, including academic departments, PACAC; SLATE PA Users Group, high school visits and college fairs, weekend recruitment programs.
- Provide other necessary assistance in order to meet the department's enrollment plan and the College's strategic agenda.
Qualifications/Prerequisites: - COMMUNICATION:
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and ability to maintain office pages.

- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities

- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office platform and ease in using new technologies.
- Maintains confidentiality with respect to files, correspondence, reports and other information.
- Knowledgeable of or willingness to learn the admission and financial aid process and timelines.
- Experience with virtual platforms - Zooms, Microsoft Teams, video chatting, etc.
- EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree expected
- LICENSES:
- Drivers license required.
- Child clearances required.
